BY Aron Devis   September 1 2017

Premier league 2017/18 season already had 3 match weeks which were very intense. And the new summer signings made a great impression and most of them scored for their new clubs. The shining signing romelu lukaku have scored in all 3 games.

It’s still early to predict which side has the better chance of winning the title, but it’s no doubt this season will be a tough one because new signings are performing strongly. So who are the most impressive signings made by the clubs?

Romelu Lukaku

Romelu Lukaku

The 24 year old striker joined united came from everton for signing fee of £75 million. After manchester united finishing sixth last season they didn’t hesitate to spend big and grab the player they wanted, and it’s turning out to be a great investment so far. Over the last four seasons lukaku has scored 68 goals for everton, with his 25 last representing a personal best. A good, old-fashioned english-style No.9, Lukaku can expect excellent service from the likes of and herrera, paul pogba and the goals should continue to flow.

Lukaku Even told “I cannot wait to run out at old trafford in front of 75,000 fans”

The striker scored a goal against star studded team real madrid in the uefa supercup and two goals against west ham in his first match playing for manchester united, the £75m signing displayed a flicker of stage fright with the left foot finish and close range header which he introduced himself to the old trafford crowd, and scoring a goal against swansea in the 80th minute. Manchester united won first two of the games 4-0 and thus going for the international break with a high note.

Alexandre Lacazette

Alexandre Lacazette

Lyon Striker joined arsenal during this summer transfer, netting 100 goals in 203 appearances he is being in transfer spotlight for many teams including atletico madrid due to their transfer ban, lacazette decided he will move for arsenal. Arsenal long term serving manager arsene wenger has freed up funds to have this player in his side for a two-year contract.

Lacazette mention that “I really have the impression i have moved into another world, be it in terms of the players, the technical staff, the football, everything is different. That’s what I came here for. I have to adapt and do that as quickly as possible.”

Lacazette will be a critical player for arsenal whom they needed very much to their side. He is is proven goalscorer and a very versatile player. In the last season he has scored 28 from 30 games last season alone. He seems someone wenger obviously sees as a potential golden boot winner and long term rival to spurs Harry Kane who has been the league’s top scorer.
Flexibility is a key part of the lacazette playing style.he can play out wide, in midfield as well as a deadly striker, and most importantly an excellent penalty taker.

Nevertheless, Thierry Henry believes that Lacazette will flourish at his former club, having seen him progress through the ranks at the youth levels in France, backing him to have a good first season

Alvaro Morata

Alvaro Morata

The 24 year striker agreed for a fee of £58 million making him the chelsea’s record signing. Morata played as a backup for benzema’s all star team real madrid.

Although Chelsea’s frontman Diego Costa 20 goals in a title -winning campaign last season, Morata does bring an impressive energy to stamford bridge after successful stints in both La liga and serie A. he spent two seasons with juventus, scoring 15 goals, before real madrid brought him back to spain. Chelsea have to adapt their tactics to bring morata into the game and the addidas user is far more technically proficient and have a better pace.

Mohamed Salah

Mohamed Salah

Salah, 25, signed for liverpool in a deal worth around £35million from roma this summer. The egypt international has hit the ground running by scoring three goals and providing two assists in his opening five games.

He has been particularly impressive in the premier league with pace proving to be no match for most recent opponents arsenal as he helped to defeat them in a 4-0 victory. He certainly gives liverpool plenty of attacking opportunities. He can play right across the frontline but would seem best deployed out wide where he can really menace a defence.

Wayne Rooney

Wayne Rooney

The 31 year old has a signed two-year deal with everton after joining on a free transfer from United. Rooney left United as their all time leading scorer on 253 goals, surpassing bobby charlton’s record of 249.

It has been said that it in choosing to go back to everton, it was easiest one to take, everton being his boyhood club, everton presented the greatest challenge, somewhere his performance would be intense, a place where there would be immense responsibility on his shoulders. He did not want his career to fizzle out. Everton will need his help as their next opponents will Manchester city, chelsea, tottenham hotspur and manchester united. Rooney will have a tremendous work to do against these clubs and make his club proud.
